Personal Interests

Lori Shell enjoys spending time with her family, taking day trips throughout the DC-area. She also enjoys running and has completed 2 marathons and many long distance races. Ms. Shell also enjoys watching her kids play all their sports throughout the year.

Biography

Lori Shell, MS, RD, LD received her undergraduate degree in clinical dietetics from Syracuse University and her Master in Exercise Science from George Washington University. She has over 20 years of experience working in clinical dietetics, including the acute care setting, long-term care, home health, and outpatient counseling. A native Washingtonian, Lori currently lives in Gaithersburg with her husband, 2 daughters, and 1 son. She enjoys running in her spare time and has completed 2 marathons. She enjoys counseling one-on-one, as well as in a group setting, and specialized in Weight Management, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease, and Kidney Disease.
