Biography

After receiving his undergraduate degree in chemistry from the College of William and Mary, Dr. Patel earned his medical degree from Ross University, Portsmouth, Dominica, West Indies. He served as an assistant professor at the Mount Sinai School Of Medicine and an assistant attending at Elmhurst Hospital Center, New York. Dr. Patel served as the Chief of Occupational Health Science at Elmhurst Hospital Center from 2004 to 2008. Dr. Patel joins RIMG after having served as a Johns Hopkins Community Physician in Maryland. In addition to general internal medicine, his clinical interests include diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia. Dr. Patel is board-certified in internal medicine.
